La alfabetización informacional del profesorado de educación secundaria del estado español

The Information and Communication technologies (ICT) are originating some changes in every area, the ones in the Education area are the ones that worry the most. Schools need to train inhabiutants that are competent in the ICT use and the information management. From the highschool education on, it is the teacher that has to assume a new role that allow him/her accomplish some knowledge, abilities, capacities and attitudes that drive him/her to select and treat the digital information better from both their own performance and their students'. It is was what is called information literacy.

The main of this thesis is to offer a description of the current level of information literacy of every teacher in highschool education of Spain. As a consequence of it, then would be interesting to propose a formative plan that allow prove the informational literacy in the teacher.
